Thirteen years ago a certain Brett Johnson sent Classic a demo of an EP entitled ‘Bounce!’. This EP was made up of ‘Stucco Homes’, ‘Jiffy Pop’, ‘Here & Now’ and ‘Slow Down Baby’; each track individual in its own right and each became real signature tunes for Classic.

Fast forward to 2015 and Brett returns with ‘The Bounce Is Back’, an EP inspired by his youth. A great example of the ever evolving cycle of dance music; each new production resembles Brett's sound from the past but perfectly placed in the present day. ‘Magic Wand’ originally featured on Luke Solomon's ‘Unfinished Business Volume 2’ compilation and is reminiscent of early Masters at Work beat jams, ‘Breathe’ which recently debuted on Luke Solomon's Essential Mix, and ‘Falling’ which features the vocal skills of Classic's very own brother from another mother Mikey V. Upon hearing ‘Falling’ Luke Solomon handed the vocals over to nu school man of the moment thatmanmonkz, who is soon to be on Classic as a stand-alone artist. Scott Monkz turns the vocal into a deep trippy groover.
